Budge Studios reveals new Crayola app

Freemium kids app company, Budge Studios has teamed up with Crayola for the launch of a new app.

Crayola Nail Party encourages kids to use their imagination to create the ultimate manicure, using a variety of polishes, patterns, glitters, stickers and designs.

The first of its kind game sees players choose pre-designed illustrated hands or they can take a photo of their own hand and use it as a canvas.

"It’s all about comining classic arts and crafts activities and digital technologies," explained Michael Elman, co-CEO of Budge Studios. "As a parent, I was so excited to see my two girls playing together – interacting and happily sharing an iPad."

Warren Schorr, VP of licensing at Crayola, added: "At Crayola, we are all about sparking creativity in online and offline experiences. This new app is a fun, relevant and highly engaging activity for kids of all ages."

Crayola Nail Party is available for free with in-app purchases on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. An Android version is due soon.
