Hit gaming brand Plants vs. Zombies is gearing up to feature in a collection of new annuals, courtesy of licensed book specialist, Pedigree.
From February this year, Pedigree will launch an activity annual and an activity annual bumper pack across the UK, Ireland, Commonwealth countries and North America.
The latest deal adds to the burgeoning roster of Plant vs. Zombies licensees that already includes partners such as Cooneen for nightwear and underwear, Smith & Brooks for apparel, Portico for greetings cards, K’NEX for construction toys and Jazwares for plush and toys.
The franchise also enjoys a number of titles under its gaming umbrella, including Plants vs. Zombies 2 – EA’s most successful mobile game launch – and multiplayer shooter Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare.
“Pedigree are always looking to work with the hottest brands on the market for their Annuals, so this new deal is indicative of just how popular Plants vs. Zombies has become,” said Bulldog licensing manager, Vicky Hill.
“This is reflected at retail, with existing products flying off the shelves, meaning the property is rapidly developing in to one of the most successful digital brands ever.”
