Fanattik has renewed its gifts and collectables licensing agreement with the video game publisher Capcom in a deal that will see the pop culture specialist continue to develop lines based on hit franchises such as Streetfighter, Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, and Megaman.
The renewal marks an extension of a partnership that has spanned many years, over which, states Fanattik’s Anthony Mark, “Capcom has always been very supportive.”
He said: “As Fanattik product continues its advance into gift retail, we wanted to make sure we secured Capcom. We foresee their titles playing a big part in our future growth.”
One of the biggest selling gaming ranges for Fanattik in recent memory was Capcom’s Resident Evil 2.
The popularity of this remake took many retailers by surprise. However, Fanattik has already started working on a range of classic Resident Evil product.
Suggested retail prices for the entire Capcom range will be £10 – £20, while Fanattik aims to serve all levels of European retail from online and mail order to the high street and supermarkets.
Capcom is just part of an ever-expanding portfolio of video game partners for the UK gift company who is also licensed by Microsoft and Bethesda.
