Captain America: Civil War conquers UK box office

Captain America: Civil War has debuted at the top of the UK box office, with an opening of £19m over the bank holiday.

Screen reports that Civil War’s Friday to Sunday gross of £14.4m makes it as the third-best Marvel debut in the UK, behind both Avengers Assemble and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Elsewhere for Disney, The Jungle Book added £5.7m to its run and is now boasting a UK total to date of £33.2m.
