Exec promoted to SVP of global licensing as part of team re-organisation.

Carla Silva steps up at AG Properties

AG Properties has promoted Carla Silva to the role of SVP of global licensing.

Silva (pictured) has been with the firm for six years, and will now see her role expand to focus on strategic growth opportunities to further broaden the consumer reach for the firm’s classic and new brands.

She will report to new AGP president, Sean Gorman.

Silva’s promotion is part of a re-organisation of AGP by Gorman to promote growth through strategic initiatives that expand AGP’s entertainment onto varied content platforms and licensed products into new territories and distribution channels.

"Carla Silva has played an instrumental role in the growth of AG Properties and this well deserved promotion will enhance how we can help consumers worldwide connect with their favourite AGP characters and brands," said Gorman.

"Carla brings exceptional vision and creativity to the company and I look forward to working with her as she takes her unique point of view to a whole new level.

Silva – who joined AGP in 2007 as VP of international licensing – was previously VP of global licensing at AGP.
