Carte Blanche welcomes back Sarah Quigley as head of UK licensing

Carte Blanche Group has appointed Sarah Quigley as its new head of UK licensing.

Quigley (pictured) returns to the firm having spent the past two years at Hasbro as senior category manager. Her remit is to further develop the long-term licensing strategies for the company’s Me to You, Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends and Tiny Tatty Teddy brands.

Licensing is a continued area of focus for Carte Blanche, which has seen strong gains in the apparel sector in particular, where its Blue Nose brands consistently track within the top three character brands across leading retailers.

Quigley will work to grow the brands’ ranking in this area, while also focusing on the growth of Carte Blanche’s presence in new categories.

"Carte Blanche is unique in having an in-house creative hub, including artists and designers as well as licensing and marketing experts," commented Quigley. "I look forward to leveraging the skill set I have garnered in the past two years on cross category initiatives, and focus on supporting the needs of our retailers as well as developing our long-term licensing strategy.

"I’ve seen first hand how strong Carte Blanche’s reputation is amongst retailers who see the power of our Blue Nose brands from solid and consistent sales year on year – retailers respect this and see a continued place for Me to You at the forefront of their licensed offering."
