Cartoon Network extends licensing reach across Russia and the CIS

Cartoon Network Enterprises EMEA has appointed Megalicense International as its licensing representative in Russia and the CIS region.

The partnership will take effect from January 1st, 2016.

Under the agreement, Megalicense will be responsible for building and managing the official licensing programmes for Cartoon Network enterprises’ portfolio of animated properties across Russia and the CIS markets.

Adventure Time, The Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10 will all feature in the programme.

“Cartoon Network Enterprises dominates a unique space in the entertainment licensing industry and its plans for the future and upcoming shows is very exciting,” said Friderico Gatti, CEO of Megalicense International.

“We plan to build, promote, assist and expand the company’s licensing and merchandising business, positioning it as the leader of licensed comedy brands in our territories.”
