Cartoon Network picks up Horrid Henry

Zodiak Kids has licensed children’s animation show Horrid Henry to Cartoon Network for its APAC region.

In addition, it has also acquired the new series four from Novel Entertainment.

Cartoon Network APAC has taken new series four, series three and relicensed series one and two. It will be broadcasting over 200 episodes throughout its APAC feed including Australia and New Zealand, India, South East Asia and Taiwan.

"Horrid Henry is a wonderfully funny show, and we are very excited to continue our relationship with Zodiak Kids and bring brand new episodes of this fantastic title to Cartoon Network as it continues to delight and entertain audiences in Asia," commented Mark Eyers, VP and chief content officer, Kids Networks, Turner International APAC.

Horrid Henry series four is currently being produced by Novel Entertainment and will launch on CITV this autumn.
