Boat Rocker Studios has teamed up with the dance studio Pineapple to curate a roster of The Next Step workshops, featuring music and choreography from the popular CBBC show.
The themed workshops launch from the Easter holidays at Pineapple’s Covent Garden dance studio.
The two-year partnership with Pineapple offers themed masterclasses across key holiday periods in its famous London studio. The workshops will give students access to the choreography from the hit series, with simple steps and advanced sequences that can be tailored for all levels.
The studio space will be dressed with The Next Step-branded signage and a talking-head wall for interactive fan pictures, making for an experience for fans. Devotees can also become an honorary A-Troupe dancer for the day with one of Pineapple’s exclusive The Next Step Dance Party Packages.
Pineapple will unveil the partnership and commence pre-booking at Move It London, the world’s biggest dance event, held on March 8th to 10th at Excel London, and provide marketing and publicity support throughout the collaboration.
Debbie Moore OBE, founder of Pineapple, said: “We are so excited to be hosting these exclusive The Next Step themed workshops.
"The show has helped to spark a huge increase in interest in dance, and where better to find your feet than in these amazing workshops at our iconic studios, where we welcome everyone from beginners to A-Troupers!”
Kate Schlomann, EVP brand management and content marketing for Boat Rocker Studios, added: “We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Pineapple Studios to bring this special The Next Step experience to fans.
"It’s a great opportunity to get closer to the show and sample life as an A-Trouper for themselves and at such an iconic venue such as Pineapple Studios, London”
The Next Step follows the trials, tribulations and triumphs of A-Troupe, a group of dancers at the Next Step dance studio. Now in its sixth series, The Next Step is consistently one of the most watched shows on CBBC.
The show is produced by Radical Sheep Productions for Boat Rocker Studios in association with Family Channel and Universal Kids. The Next Step is also produced with the participation of the Shaw Rocket Fund and the Canada Media Fund (CMF). Boat Rocker Studios distributes season 6 and beyond internationally.
