CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries and Carmilla secures raft of new partners

Shaftesbury/Smokebomb has announced a swathe of new licensing deals for hit CBC series Murdoch Mysteries and popular digital series Carmilla.

Company & Co. will release an all-ages immersive game experience under the title Murdoch Myseries Escape Series.

Launching in February 2017, the Murdoch Mysteries Escape Series will kick off in Toronto at the George Brown House with “The Secret of Station House No. 4”, a one-hour room escape game in which players will need to discover clues, piece together evidence and crack the case in order to save Detective Murdoch.

Meanwhile, has collaborated with the popular CBC show Carmilla’s creators on a necklace set to appear in a recent episode of the series while apparell retailer Mighty Fine will develop a clothing line in association with the series.

These new lincesees join Titan Books, Segal Licensing and Katalyst in collaborating with Shaftesbury/Smokebomb for products based on their hit series’.
