In a new partnership with Gold Ant, the first title will launch in early 2015 with a special bumper edition planned for Christmas 2015.

CBeebies’ Boj heads to DVD in the New Year

Popular CBeebies series Boj will be heading to DVD with an array of five titles launching in 2015.

A special edition box set will then launch in time for Christmas next year.

Pesky Production has secured a five year deal with Gold Ant Entertainment to roll out the DVDs across the UK and Ireland.

Boj is a pre-school animated comedy and features the voice of iconic 90s television presenter, Dave Benson Phillips. Each episode sees Boj find ways to help his new friends and neighbours solve a range of dilemmas with his improvised contraptions.

Five DVDs are now planned for release for 2015 with a special edition box set featuring a double length special episode due in time for Christmas next year.

David Hodgson, director of Pesky Production and co-creator of Boj, added: “Gold Ant has shown genuine enthusiasm for Boj and we can’t wait to enjoy the boost we’ll receive from its considerable energies as we work towards making 2015 in to a Boj-a-boom year for the brand.”

Tasos Apostoli, director of Gold Ant Entertainment, added: “In Boj, Pesky has a wonderful product and it deserves all the success it is now enjoying with it.

“I very much hope and believe that we will continue that success together.”
