Centum Books has picked up the UK master format licence for the hotly tipped Minions movie, which is due to hit cinema screens this summer.
The deal – which was brokered between Centum and licensing agent CPLG on behalf of Universal Partnerships & Licensing – will include a Minions junior novel, a picture storybook, sticker book, activity book, poster book and annual.
Centum has previously worked with Universal on Despicable Me 2 and Jurassic World.
"We are delighted to have been awarded the UK master format for Universal and Illumination’s Minions, and we believe this is a reflection of the titles we have previously produced for Despicable Me 2," commented Fiona Macmillan, publishing director at Centum Books.
"This contract extends our working relationship with Universal and Illumination, and we look forward to creating a range of titles that will be loved by the dedicated Minions fan base."
