Lisle International has partnered with Character World for a line of Flappy Bird licensed bedroom textiles.
Character World will design, manufacture and distribute a range of products to retailers across the UK and EIRE, including a duvet set and cushion set to hit retail in September 2014.
Flappy Bird is not currently available on App Store, but will be back in August with a new multiplayer gaming mode.
“FlappyBird is a licence we have signed as it ticks the right boxes for us in terms of broad global awareness and a strong brand identity at its heart," said Tim Kilby, brand director at Character World.
"The mobile gaming market is huge – worth $2.3 billion in Western Europe alone – and we really want to capitalise on this by designing and manufacturing products which appeal to consumers in this market.
“We’re already seeing significant demand from both retailers and consumers for Flappy Bird products and the signing has come at a perfect time, with the App due to be re-released in August and our products to launch soon after.”
