Hasbro has detailed two new licensing deals at the opening of the 2015 China Licensing Expo.
Chinese publisher Children’s Fun Publishing Co has signed a deal to create a Chinese version of My Little Pony Magazine while Ferrero will bring Transformers and My Little Pony characters to Kinder Joy products.
“Children and parents expect a wide array of products to match their daily routines based on brands with which they have strong affinity and recognition,” said James Walker, Hasbro’s vice president of brand licensing and publishing, EMEA & Asia Pacific,
“We have also been able to reach new audiences in the region though global licenses including Fyodor Golan’s My Little Pony Rainbow Wheel collection, which was recently showcased at a highly-praised pop-up store in Hong Kong.
“The Transformers and My Little Pony brands are widely recognised and these new relationships will enable us to continue to offer the region’s parents a range of joyful, useful, high-quality and unique products.
The 2015 China Licensing Expo is being held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from Tuesday October 20th to Thursday October 22nd, 2015.
