Cloudbabies lands big screen deal with Picturehouse CInemas

The popular pre-school series Cloudbabies is heading to the big screen thanks to a new deal with Picturehouse Cinemas.

A new partnership between Hoho Rights and Picturehouse will see the animated series screened in special Toddler Time sessions in 33 of the company’s cinemas across the UK.

The deal will run from January to March 2017 and will see Cloudbabies screened in the cinema chain’s weekly 35 to 40 minute programme of early years content.

Cloudbabies – which first launched on CBeebies in May 2012 – will feature alongside other films and shorts, designed as a means of helping under fives enjoy the cinema experience.

“We are very pleased to be linking up with Picturehouse Cinemas who are doing wonderful work in encouraging the youngest of children to come and enjoy the cinema experience,” said Helen Howells, joint managing director, Hoho Rights.

“Cloudbabies is a wonderfully imaginative and colourful property and we hope toddlers will be mesmerised when they see it on the big screen.”
