For the first time ever, Hasbro has gathered 22 of the world’s top brands to appear on the new Monopoly Empire.
Coca Cola, McDonald’s and Xbox will feature among many more in a game encouraging players to collect, buy and trade companies in a quest to ‘own it all.’
Players will also travel the board with tokens that represent six of the brands featured in the game: a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, a Ducati motorcycle, a Coca Cola glass bottle, an Xbox controller, a Paramount Pictures movie clapboard and McDonald’s French Fries.
The following brands are featured in the Monopoly Empire game:
- Beats by Dr Dre
- Coca Cola
- Electronic Arts
- Paramount Pictures
- Under Armour
- X Games
Eric Nyman, SVP and global brand leader for Hasbro Gaming, said: "The Monopoly Empire games continues Hasbro’s tradition of providing exciting new ways for families to play games together.
"The game allows kids to create their ultimate dream empire and imagine what it would be like to own the brands that mean the most to them, whether that’s Xbox or Spotify."
Players showcase the brands they own with billboards on a tower. The first to fill their tower wins the game.
However, players must face the possibility of hostile takeovers, stock market crashes among other game changing events.
