Cookie Company to launch new Plants vs. Zombies apparel

The Cookie Company has signed with Bulldog Licensing to develop a new line of apparel based on the popular gaming brand, Plants vs. Zombies.

The firm is preparing to launch its new collection of t-shirts, nightwear, underwear, swimwear, hats, scarves and gloves in the coming weeks.

The range will launch across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, where, according to Bulldog, ‘retail reaction to Plants vs. Zombies has already been superb.’

Cookie Company now joins a growing list of licensees for the popular brand, devised by PopCap Games, including Coneen for apparel, K’Nex for construction toys, Character Options for plush and toys, Penguin for publishing and more.

“Plants vs. Zombies is an amazing character brand with a huge following, said Rob Corney, Bulldog MD.

“Product is on the shelves across European retail and is supported by the brand’s huge popularity, which is resulting in very impressive sell-through.”
