Coolabi has agreed a deal with magazine publisher Kennedy Enterprises for a new stand-alone Poppy Cat magazine.
The magazine will focus on the pussycat and her friends, and is set to bring readers branded stickers, posters and mini activity booklets, plus a Poppy Cat cover mount.
Poppy Cat magazine is scheduled to land on shelves in spring 2014 to coincide with the new TV series on Nick Jr and distribution managers will actively promote the launch of the magazine to all of the major supermarkets, regional groups and independent retailers.
"We are delighted to add Poppy Cat to our portfolio of popular children’s magazines," said Paul Kennedy of Kennedy Enterprises.
"Poppy Cat fans will love our colourful new magazine, which will be packed full of stories, puzzles and colouring. Each issue will feature a free Poppy Cat gift, plus a pull-out activity workbook with interactive reward stickers to make learning more fun.
"We will be including content designed for children to enjoy alone, and activities to be enjoyed with their parents. "
The marketing campaign for Poppy Cat will focus on securing as many retailer listings and promotions as possible to maximise sales of the new publication.
