CPLG opens new Turkey-based office

CPLG has announced the opening of its first office in Turkey, based out of Istanbul.

CPLG will be led by licensing and retail professional Begum Isikli, who will assume the position of commercial director CPLG Turkey.

Isikli boasts a wealth of experience in the licensing industry, having previously worked as the retail head of the Walt Disney Company Turkey and category manager at Lisans A.S.

Isikli said: “I am very excited about joining the CPLG family. I look forward to using my knowledge, experience and skills to really put CPLG on the map in the Turkish marketplace.”

In addition, CPLG Turkey will be now be representing the local pre-school property Canim Kardesim (My Dear Sister), and will be commencing the licensing programe with immediate effect in categories including toys, publishing and apparel.

Maria Gurrieri, MD Southern Europe, added: “The establishment of CPLG Turkey and the recent acquisition of Canim Kardesim, further strengthens CPLG’s position, not only as a key player in Southern Europe but highlights the local expertise each office brings to the CPLG global network.”
