CPLG signs raft of licensees for England Rugby

CPLG has signed a raft of new licensees for England Rugby.

As the official licensing agent for the Rugby Football Union, the firm has secured partnerships with three major retailers, introducing a range of new England Rugby products to fans in 2015.

Husky Retail Ltd, Premier Sports Lights and LR Group International have joined the roster of England Rugby merchandising partners so deliver new ranges ahead of the RBS Six Nations Championship.

“We are delighted to welcome Husky Retail, Premier Sports Lights and LR Group International to the England Rugby licensee programme,” said Jane Barron, licensing manager at the RFU.

“2015 will be an exciting year for rugby, from the RBS Six Nations to the QBE Internationals culminating in the World Cup in September and we are pleased to be continuing to strengthen and grow the England rugby merchandising offering for fans alongside what will be an important year for England Rugby.”

Husky Retail will deliver a range of themed fridges, Premier Sports Lights a selection of novelty lighting with sounds and LR Group International will deliver an England Rugby ball foldable rucksack.

Nicola Thompson, senior business development manager at CPLG, added: “We are looking forward with hope and excitement to next year’s World Cup and we are very pleased to be bringing these new licensees in to the England Rugby licensee squad.

“We look forward to working with them as they roll out their products and offer fans a unique opportunity to feel a part of England’s push for victory.”
