CPLG has appointed Libby Grant as global business development director of brands.
In the role, Grant will spearhead the rapidly expanding brands portfolio and develop CPLG’s brands representation. She will report to Steve Manners, executive vice president.
Grant was founding partner and director of Fluid World who was responsible for growing Hello Kitty to become the biggest girls’ brand in the UK. She also oversaw the Mr. Men UK licensing programme and turned Chupa Chups into a lifestyle brand.
Most recently, she managing the licensing for cult design brand tokidoki and iconic interior design company, Designers Guild.
“Libby brings with her a wealth of experience across building and licensing brands, said Manners.
"Brand representation is a major focus for CPLG moving forward. Our expansion over the past three years offers Licensors a unique opportunity for global or regional representation, but with the ability to bring local execution and retail expertise. Libby has an outstanding pedigree and fantastic relationships.”
