British music icon, Craig David has teamed with Bravado and Selfridges to drop a new fashion collection inspired by the UK garage scene.
The Craig David Collection features a range of bold graphic t-shirts, hoodies and long-sleeved t-shirts inspired by the music and sound that exploded out of the UK underground back in 1999.
Each design features typography and imagery influenced by David’s lyrics and career, as well as nodding towards album covers and the British culture surrounding the early UK garage scene.
David has been credited with being one of the most successful artists in UK chart history as well as being the voice of one of the most pivotal eras in UK music.
“I am really honoured to be working together with Selfridges to launch this collection,” said David.
“I wanted to create a fresh and exciting new clothing line for my fans that represents where I am musically today, but also influenced by the style of where I came from.”
The new launch coincides with Selfridge’s Music Matters season, celebrating the correlative relationship between music and style that runs in-store from June 26th to October 18th.
The collection was developed in partnership with Bravado.
