Characters from Escape from New York, First Blood and Terminator 2: Judgment Day will appear in the hit app game.

Creative Licensing teams with TinyCo to bring iconic action stars to Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff

Creative Licensing has partnered with San Francisco-based mobile game developer TinyCo to bring iconic movie heroes and villains to a special event inside the Family Guy: The Guest for Stuff app game.

The special event sees the likes of including Escape from New York’s Snake Plissken, Terminator 2: Judgment Day’s Sarah Connor and the T-1000 endoskeleton and Rambo join forces with Peter Griffin to battle an evil robot that is threatening to destroy the town.

Players could unlock the special event characters either as a premium purchase or by collecting a series of in-game materials through normal gameplay.

“TinyCo did a superb job bringing these iconic heroes and villains into the world of Family Guy while remaining true to their original archetypes from the films," said Stephanie Marlis, director of digital at Creative Licensing.

Due to the "fantastic reaction" from the integration, Creative Licensing will continue to make its stable of famous film characters available for in-game integrations.
