Britain’s Got Talent judge, writer and comedian David Walliams will voice Pudsey in the dog’s big screen debut, reports Screen.
Pudsey: The Movie began shooting on September 1st and the film is being directed by Horrid Henry: The Movie director Nick Moore with a script by Paul Rose.
“I am thrilled to be providing the voice of Pudsey. I have been coming up with different voices for him ever since that first audition," said Walliams.
The film sees the Britain’s Got Talent winner star as a stray dog who tags along with a family as they move to the quiet village of Chuffington-on-Sea. But no sooner have they settled in when Pudsey comes across an evil plan and has to set off on an adventure to save the entire village.
Pudsey: The Movie is due for release in UK in May 2014.
