DC Super Hero Girls partners with Megan Nicole for Get Your Cape On music video

Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and DC Entertainment, in partnership with Mattel, are teaming up with musician Megan Nicole for a new take on the DC Super Hero Girls theme song.

With the aim to encourage fans and viewers and to ‘get their capes on’, the new music video will star Nicole alongside real fans.

“We’re excited to partner with Megan Nicole as she teams up with our DC Super Hero Girls franchise,” said Pam Lifford, president of WBCP.

“We continue our efforts to reinforce our message of empowerment by encouraging young fans around the world to embrace their inner strength and make a difference. WBCP and Megan Nicole celebrate the spirit of DC Super Hero Girls in this all-new take of the Get Your Cape On music video to inspire kids to be positive, proud and powerful.”

Kids will be able to show how they get their capes on in everything they do via Instagram, Twitter and Facebook using #GetYourCapeOn and #DCSuperHeroGirls.

The video will make its debut on September 8th and will be available to view on YouTube, as well as the DC Super Hero Girls site and mobile app.

Nicole said: “I’m thrilled to team up with DC Super Hero Girls and get my cape on in celebration of the power in all of us.

“I love DC Super Hero Girls’ message of inspiration to be strong, supportive, and true to yourself. I know when other fans watch this video, they’ll feel the same way I do.”
