DC Thomson is championing reading this year as The Diary of Dennis the Menace: World Menace Day is named a World Book Day 2015 title.
Published in partnership with Penguin Group UK, the Diaries of Dennis the Menace book series became the best-selling young fiction launch of last year.
Following the series success, The Diary of Dennis the Menace has been selected as a World Book Day title and will now give young fans the chance to read all about The Beano’s resident tinker.
The title is one of ten titles selected as part of the prestigious annual celebrations that kids will now be able to redeem with one of the 14 million National Book tokens distributed across schools in the UK.
In its 18th year, World Book Day 2015 is being supported by a nationwide tour entitled The Biggest Show on Earth, set to reach 14,000 children across the country.
Steven Butler, author of The Diary of Dennis the Menace series will compere the tour as it spans ten locations across the UK.
Rubie’s will support the licensor’s World Book day activity with a range of Dennis the Menace children’s dress up.
