DHX Media has appointed Jon Gisby to the role of managing director at WildBrain, its growing digital kids’ network and studio.
Bringing 20 years’ experience to the role and having held senior roles at platforms such as Vevo, BBC and Channel 4, Gisby will look to continue WildBrain’s growth in the space.
WildBrain’s branded YouTube network is one of the largest of its kind, featuring more than 110,000 videos for over 600 kids’ brands in 22 languages. From July 2017 through to June 2018, WilBrain grew annual watch time on its network by 134 per cent to 129 billion minutes.
