New animated series will make its UK debut on February 2nd.

Disney signs Dude That’s My Ghost

Disney has signed fresh TV cartoon Dude That’s My Ghost from kids’ entertainment firm Alphanim.

Disney XD UK, Latin America and Disney Southeast Asia will air the animated series, consisting of 52 11-minute episodes.

As a co-production with Disney XD EMEA, Dude That’s My Ghost will premiere on Disney XD UK on Saturday, February 2nd at 8am. 

The show follows the adventures of 14-year-old Spencer who moves to Hollywood with his family and has to adjust to life with his new friend, the ghost of famous pop star Billy Joe Cobra.

"Dude That’s My Ghost is a character-driven comedy with unique storytelling and a strong character identity," said Pierre Belaïsch, MD of Alphanim. 

"The series has true international appeal and we are delighted at the opportunity to further our ongoing relationship with the Disney Channels through these Latin American and Southeast Asian sales."
