Dr Seuss Enterprises expands its licensing roster in Australia

Dr Seuss Enterprises is expanding its licensing portfolio in Australia with a slate of new partnerships and renewals for its property line up, including The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Oh, The Places You’ll Go, Horton Hears a Who, Fox in Socks, and more.

The company will kick off by renewing and amending deals with local Australian licensees, including Amscan, Lake Press, MJM Australia, and Zak Australia for additional merchandise. Dr Seuss Enterprises has also signed a new deal with Caprice Australia. New licensed product will span all categories such as accessories, costumes, activity and colouring books, puzzles,, games, kitchenware, and home décor.

Caprice Australia has signed up for The Cat in the Hat and How the Grinch Stole Christmas and under the agreement will develop new apparel collections for infants, children, and adults.

Meanwhile, as part of a deal renewal, Amscan Australia will be adding new licensed partyware for various properties, such as balloons, party favours, costumes, accessories and bakeware. Similarly, Dr. Seuss Enterprises has amended its current agreement with Lake Press for products such as activity and colouring books, costume kits, deluxe colouring books, baby milestone record books, and Grinch-themed Christmas activity pads.

Next up, Dr Seuss Enterprises will expand its presence in the games and puzzles category with educational and playful products from MJM Australia. Some of the new licensed products are floor mats and games, including Pres-o-matic, 4 in a Row, Snakes and Ladders, Find it First, and Hide and Seek Game.

Finally, Dr Seuss Enterprises renewed its licensing deal with Zak Australia for home décor and kitchenware products inspired by the vibrant and creative Dr Seuss universe. The line-up of new merchandise includes novelty drinkware and kitchenware, mugs, lunch bags, home storage, and kitchen items such as placemats, cutlery, cookie and sandwich cutters, dining products, drink bottles, aprons, chef hats and more.

In the home décor category, products include ceramic figurines, children’s room decorations, money banks, picture frames, wall decals, wall prints, snow globes, floor rugs, pillows, wall art and milestone sets.
