Dramaforum appoints Blonde Sheep to lead licensing for Petra’s Planet

Dramaforum Oy, the developers of Petra’s Planet, has appointed Blonde Sheep to head up the property’s licensing programme across the UK and Ireland.

Petra’s Planet is a virtual world for children and first originated from the series of Petra Books, which was originally published in Finland.

Natasha Dyson, MD at Blonde Sheep Licensing, said: “It’s a pleasure working with Dramaforum who are so passionate and committed to making Petra’s Planet a success.

“Petra’s Planet offers licensees a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing property that inspires children to learn while they explore and have fun.”

Since 2014, Petra’s Planet has grown by over 400 per cent, with millions of children using the virtual world.

Eevamaria Halttunen, founder of Dramaforum, added: “Petra’s Planet continues to grow and captivate children in the UK and we are excited to partner with Blonde Sheep.

“We chose to work with them to expand the Petra’s Planet brand because of their knowledge and relationships in the UK licensing community. We look forward to developing the brand with Natasha."
