DreamWorks Animation adds new agent for Brazil

DreamWorks Animation has appointed Compania Panamericana de Licencias (CPL) as its licensing agent in Brazil.

The deal expands on the existing relationship between the two firms which already encompasses Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and Mexico.

CPL’s Brazil business will be led by 25-year industry veteran Herbert Greco, who has served the region in a similar capacity for Warner Bros. Consumer Products and the Walt Disney Company.

Jonathan Baker, head of international consumer products at Dreamworks Animation, commented: "We enjoy a wonderful relationship with CPL throughout Latin America and believe they are perfectly suited to drive our business in Brazil.
