E la Carte brings Care Bears content to restaurants

Tech firm E la Carte, creators of the Presto Smart Dining System for full-service restaurants, has teamed up with American Greetings Entertainment, to bring Care Bears content to restaurants.

Included in the new content is the game Care Bears Love To Learn, which will be delivered on the at-the-table Presto Terminals for a limited time throughout January 2017.

The new game includes a series of mini games and puzzles, designed to help kids count and identify shapes and letters.

“We’re delighted to bring another platform for children to discover the Care Bears brand in restaurants nationwide and for families to be entertained while they prepare to share a meal together,” said Megan Buettner, head of digital and creative at American Greetings Entertainment.

“We are excited to establish a long-term relationship with E la Carte and to bring more interactive content to the platform for families and Care Bears fans of all ages.”

Stacy Rademacher, head of entertainment at E la Carte, added: “The Presto Smart Dining System promotes a completely customised dining experience and puts control in the guests’ hands. By expanding our gaming suite, we are promoting a better guest dining experience.

“By incorporating Care Bears, we are not only promoting a family-friendly environment where children can entertain themselves while waiting for their food, but parents enjoy that they can also enjoy their time dining out as well.”
