EA expands Battlefield brand into consumer products

Electronic Arts’ action shooter Battlefield video games franchise is expanding into other consumer products areas.

Its studio DICE has revealed a full slate of branded products, in anticipation of the release of Battlefield 4 on October 29th.

Licensed products include a Battlefield 4 novel written by Peter Grimsdale that provides the back story about the game’s heroic squad, plus a high-end art book from Titan Books.

Razer performance PC gaming peripherals and accessories, including mice, keyboards, headsets, messenger bags and iPhone cases are also available, along with Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers, PC mouse mats and strategy guides.

Jinx clothing apparel and accessories including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, key chains and dog tags, plus wall graphics and mobile device and tablet cases complete the collection.
