ELC appointed 20th Century Fox agent

Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products has appointed the European Licensing Company (ELC) as licensing agent.

ELC will oversee the licensor’s brands throughout Central Eastern Europe and Russia, including Ice Age, Epic and Rio.

It will also represent Fox’s big TV entertainment brands including The Simpsons, currently airing in its record-smashing 24th season, in addition to the hit animated series Family Guy, drama Sons of Anarchy and breakout comedy New Girl.

Lora Cohn, SVP of Global Brand Management & Strategy at FCP, said: "Ice Age already has a huge presence in the CEER region and is enjoying phenomenal success at retail. We’re excited that ELC will take this franchise onward to the next level."

Hakan Durdag, President and co-founder of European Licensing Company, added: “We’re thrilled to be working with FCP to develop and extend its world class entertainment brands throughout the CEER region. Already representing some of the world’s biggest entertainment brands, from cinematic superheroes to timeless animated characters, we’re confident that we can drive Fox Consumer Products’ programmes to new heights.”
