Endemol Shine North America names Thomas Ferguson VP of licensing and partnerships

Thomas Ferguson has been named Vice President, licensing and partnerships, Endemol Shine North America.

In his new role, Ferguson will be responsible for negotiating and securing partnerships across various consumer product categories, with a focus on publishing, e-commerce, branded content experiences, as well as live events for Endemol Shine series.

“I am consistently impressed by Thomas’ creativity and passion to drive new and unique business opportunities for our TV and digital brands,” said Tamaya Petteway, senior vice president of brand and licensing partnerships.

“This well-deserved promotion will expand Thomas’ leadership role within a very strong brand and licensing group.”

Ferguson added: “Endemol Shine North America’s current slate of deep library of IP is a playground of opportunity to extend the company’s brands with licensed products and experiences.

“I am excited about my expanded role as I continue working to grow our business in an ever-evolving TV landscape.”

Ferguson joined Shine America in December 2013 and most recently served as director of licensing partnerships. He has led major ESN initiatives including the MasterChef Cruise, Cooking with MasterChef and The Biggest Loser Resorts.

Kelly Hill will continue as VP licensing partnerships. Together with Ferguson, the executives will lead the company’s licensing efforts under Petteway.
