20th Century Fox Consumer Products opens first office in Asia

Firm expands global footprint and it looks to take advantage of licensing opportunities in region.

20th Century Fox has opened its first office dedicated to Consumer Products in the Asia Pacific region.

The firm has appointed Pinky David (pictured) as vice president, Asia Pacific to head up the office, which sees Fox take a significant step toward expanding its global footprint and reach greater licensing opportunities in Asia Pacific.

David joins Fox from Discovery Enterprises International where she had the role of regional licensing sales director. Prior to this, she worked at Turner Broadcasting Asia Pacific in Hong Kong as regional promotions licensing director for Cartoon Network. David's other roles include MD of Promotional Partners Worldwide in the Philippines and communciations director of Shangri-La Hotel in Manila.

"Pinky has a deep understanding of the consumer products business with her extensive knowledge and background working in the areas of licensing, promotions and retail development," said Roz Nowicki, EVP of global sales and retail at Fox Consumer Products. "We are confident that we have added the right executive to our team to drive our long-term goals for the Asia Pacific region."
