360 Audit is a royalty auditor for the licensing industry, which was founded by Riaz in 2010 and provides a combination of high level financial and legal audit and due diligence services.

The Women in Business Awards are run by business networking organisation Forward Ladies and bring together professional women across the region. Riaz is up against candidates from a range of businesses from catteries to telecoms.

The overall winning businesswoman will be selected from the winner of each of the nine categories. Henna Riaz has been shortlisted in the Start-Up Business Woman category.

In under two years, work carried out by 360 Audit has recovered in excess of £2 million pounds of under reported royalty income owing to its clients.
Its portfolio already boasts the BBC, Entertainment One and Nickelodeon.

Riaz commented: "I took the bold step to go my own way and haven’t looked back. I’m doing what I love – enhancing commercial relationships. I’ve got some great people on board with me now and the business is going from strength to strength.

"The awards are a great celebration of women embracing the business world and I’m delighted to be on the shortlist.”

The winners will be announced at a lunch at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, sponsored by Barclays, on Thursday November 10th.
