Global licensing firm 360 Audit is moving into the Middle East region, as it looks to expand its business further.
The company has appointed Bahrain-based Kamran Akhtar (pictured) to carry out bespoke royalty auditing and ancillary services in the region.
Akhtar has previously worked with a number of large companies in the Gulf Corporation Council, advising them on their business and operational strategies. Prior to joining 360 Audit, he worked at Ernst & Young in its advisory department.
"The Middle East is becoming an increasingly important territory for us, with many companies here generating significant amounts of royalty-based income - whether it be under franchise or licence," said Henna Riaz, founder and managing partner at 360 Audit.
"The expansion of 360 Audit in Bahrain is another key step in the growth of our international portfolio - 2013 is going to be a big year for us and Kamran is set to play a key role in our success."
Akhtar added: "I am delighted to be part of the team and look forward to developing the company's Middle East and ancillary service offerings."
