BBC Worldwide has agreed new deals in Spain for Little Airplane's pre-school show, 3rd & Bird.

Playhouse Disney and Televisio de Catalunya have both secured broadcasting rights for all 50 x ten-minute episodes and the 20-minute special and will broadcast in Spain from the first quarter of next year.

In addition, BBC Worldwide has also confirmed the sale of 3rd & Bird to PTS Channel, Taiwan's major free to air channel. All episodes of the programme have been purchased and will broadcast in Mandarin from early 2010.

Territory sales for 3rd & Bird now total 14.

The TV sales will be followed by licensing campaigns in all territories. In the UK, this will kick off with the launch of Fisher-Price product in spring 2010.
