4Kids teams with Subway for Wordworld promo

Year-long promotion kicks off next month in 25,000 participating locations in North America.

4Kids Entertainment is teaming up with the Subway chain in the US to help push its pre-school brand, Wordworld.

The year-long promotion kicks off next month at 25,000 locations. A Wordworld board book and matching meal bag will be available to pre-schools on request when buying a Subway Fresh Fit for Kids meal, until December 2011.

In French-speaking Canadian territories, Subway will be offering a French language version.

The promotion will be supported online and through in-restaurant signage.

"We are very excited to partner with Subway to launch this Wordworld promotion, offering these engaging books which empower and inspire young kids to get ready to read," said Al Kahn, chairman and CEO of 4Kids Entertainment.
