A Bedtime Story with Arnie & Barnie, the Nicklodeon show produced in the UK, will return in 2013 for a seventh series on Nick Jr.
Production of 12 episodes - each presented by a celebrity guest - has now begun at the MTV/Nickelodeon studios in Camden, North London.
Each 15-minute episode sees Arnie & Barnie joined by a guest celebrity story teller. Readers this series include Olympic Gold Medallist Greg Rutherford, Konnie Huq, Kara Tointon and Kimberley Wyatt, each reading a new original story penned by British Children's writer, Becky Overton.
"That the programme is back for a seventh series speaks to the incredible adventures and imaginative possibilities contained within a story," said Peter Drake, VP, creative director, Nickelodeon UK. "Being read a story should be a central experience to childhood and being able to bring that experience to Nick Jr with the help of Arnie and Barnie and well-known celebrities is a powerful representation of the ability of Nick Jr to connect with its audience."
