An image has swept the internet, claiming to be the first look of the Stormtroopers’ helmets from Star Wars: Episode VII.

Slated to be appearing in JJ Abrams’ upcoming continuation of the Star Wars movie franchise, the image of the Stormtrooper helmet was first released by Jay Carlson at Indie Revolver.

The Mirror reports that the helmet seems to have been upgraded with vents in different places.

Speculation over the helmet has not been confirmed but is the latest in leaked knowledge of the upcoming installment, following Clerks director Kevin Smith’s outburst.

“I’m really excited,” Smith said. “And you know, people keep saying that I liked the last trilogy, and I did.

“This movie though…Dude, I cried four times..[JJ] has f***ing captured it, man. He’s nailed it.”
