Aardman expands BeanoMax deal

Monthly mag launches special eight-page section featuring the Shaun the Sheep and Wallace and Gromit.

An extended section for well-known Aardman characters has launched in the BeanoMax.

Wallace and Gromit have been joined by other favourites from the animation studio, appearing alongside the likes of Dennis the Menace and Gnasher, Minnie the Minx and The Bash Street Kids in regular adventures.

Following the success of the existing Wallace and Gromit’s strip, the monthly mag has developed a new eight-page segment including regular Shaun the Sheep stories, games along with exciting competitions and news from the studio.

Within the segment kids can also get hands-on with Aardman’s grass-roots home animation brand Animate It where Morph provides monthly exercises, tips and tricks, such as ‘How to draw Wallace’ and ‘How to create a Storyboard’.

Rob Goodchild, head of licensing at Aardman Animations, said: “Our partnership with BeanoMax is the perfect fit for Aardman and we are delighted to have such a fantastic presence in the magazine, enabling our younger fans to engage regularly with our brands and look forward to new adventures every month.”
