Aardman extends Mookie deal

Toy firm will now produce scooters, ride-ons and playballs for pre-school property, Timmy Time.

Aardman Animations has extended its agreement with toy company Mookie, with the firm now producing scooters, ride-ons and playballs for pre-school hit Timmy Time.

Mookie will be revealing the new range at UK Toy Fair in January 2011, while it will also be at Spring Fair ready for a spring/summer launch.

"We were really pleased when Mookie decided to extend their licence with us, as Timmy Time works so well for children's scooters and ride-ons," said Rob Goodchild, UK licensing manager at Aardman. "It's great to have Mookie on board and we're excited about the Toy Fair launch."

Guy Orr, director at Mookie, added: "We look forward to developing this exciting range of Timmy Time products."
