Aardman secures rights to Small Potatoes

Firm picks up EMEA merchandise rights for Little Airplane's pre-school series.

Aardman Rights has bolstered its portfolio with the EMEA merchandise rights for Little Airplane Productions' pre-school series, Small Potatoes.

The deal covers publishing, promotions, DVD and interactive for EMEA territories.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with the incredibly talented and innovative group at Aardman Rights and we have no doubt they will take very good care of our beloved Small Potatoes," said Josh Selig, founder and president of Little Airplane.

Sean Clarke, head of Aardman Rights, added: "We're excited to be working with Little Airplane on developing a merchandise campaign to support this up and coming band of potatoes as they seek world domination. The band's TV show has already proven to be a hit with pre-schoolers and adults alike, and we look forward to growing the fanbase online and offline with a range of exciting new products."
