Aardman Rights has finalised an exclusive all-rights deal for Shaun the Sheep and Timmy Time with U'young Media in China.
As part of the deal, U'young will manage DVD, toy and publishing for both series, which it is aiming to launch from spring 2011.
Shaun the Sheep is already airing in China, after major Chinese state broadcaster CCTV-Children launched it earlier this month.
"U'young have really embraced Shaun the Sheep and Timmy Time and provided us with a comprehensive and integrated plan across all rights for launching two of our biggest brands in China," said Sean Clarke, head of Aardman Rights. "And we look forward to working with U'young to roll out a comprehensive Shaun merchandise programme in spring 2011."
Timmy Time has now sold to more than 130 territories worldwide.
