Entertainment One Family has announced a string of new worldwide TV deals for its properties including hit pre-school show Peppa Pig.
ABC in Australia has picked up series five and six of Peppa Pig, series two of Rob the Robot and has struck a renewal deal for The Secret World of Benjamin Bear.
TVNZ in New Zealand will see Peppa Pig debut on its Kidzone channel, and it will air Lost and Found on TV2. Mediaworks has also signed on to broadcast Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom and Humf on its Four channel in New Zealand, too.
And ETV in South Africa has acquired the rights to series one through six for Peppa Pig.
Joss Duffield, head of international sales at Entertainment One Family, said: “In the past 12 months we have been highly successful in securing international broadcast sales across all our children’s programmes. We’re thrilled to be bringing these shows to more families around the globe and will continue to seek broadcast partners that will maximise the potential of our strong portfolio.”
