ABC Australia ties up programming deal

Granada International Australia, part of ITV Global has sold a package of drama series to ABC Australia.

The deal, brokered by Augustus Dulgaro, SVP Sales Australia, New Zealand and Japan, also includes more than 80 hours of factual programming

Included within the agreement will be a new series of dramas Agatha Christie’s Poirot starring David Suchet and Marple with Julia McKenzie, broadcast on ABC1.

Factual series Extreme Rescue, Coach Trip and Zoo Days will be shown on ABC2.

Also included in the package is the new CGI version of The Pinky & Perky Show, which will be aired by ABC KIDS Australia.
