Kirsty Guthrie has added another firm to her portfolio, having been appointed as worldwide sales and licensing consultant for five of Absolutely Cuckoo's brands.
The firm, which creates commercial characters for mobile, licensing, advertising and TV, was represented by Guthrie at its first outing to Licensing International in New York in June. She will now represent such properties as teen/tween brands The Greetlings and Cub Club, plus a range of cool contemporary brands for greetings cards and giftware.
Dan Good, MD of Absolutely Cuckoo, said: "Kirsty has considerable experience and the fit is excellent. She has an understanding of our unique and creative way of building character brands and we are very excited to be working with her. She raised our profile significantly in New York and is now in discussions with agents in the US and Asia.

Absolutely Cuckoo was founded in 2006 by artist/designers and ex-greetings card publishers Dan Good and Lucy Chesher. The firm has already established over a dozen brands in licensing and placed ten brands under option with children's TV production companies including the pre-school Waybuloo for Cbeebies, in conjunction with RDF.
