The original cast of the 1979 classic Alien have reunited to voice their characters once more for bonus missions in Sega's upcoming videogame, Alien: Isolation.
Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, Yaphet Kotto and Ian Holm will feature in two downloadable bonus missions available to customers that pre-order the game.
“Working with the original cast has been an incredible experience,” said Alistair Hope, creative lead on Alien: Isolation.
“It was important to us to have the key original cast members reprise their roles in order to perfectly capture the atmosphere of the movie. For some of the original cast, this is the their first appearance in an Alien video game. Seeing them reprise those roles after 35 years was an unforgettable experience.”
Customers that pre-order the 'Nostromo Edition' can play the bonus content, Crew Expendable. This sees players explore the Nostromo from habitation deck down through engineering, in a bid to lure the Alien into the ship’s airlock.
Those who pre-order at select retailers will also receive Last Survivor. This bonus mission sees Ripley navigate back down through the Nostromo in order to activate the self-destruct sequence, before retracing their steps back to the Narcissus shuttle and their escape.
Alien: Isolation will be available from October 7th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 abd PlayStation 3.
